Dabolim airport is an only international airport in Goa. It is situated in the Vasco-de-Gama city of goa. And almost 28 km far from Madgaon city.

How to reach south goa from New Delhi by Indian railway.

There are two trains available from the Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station to  Madgaon railway station (south goa) on a daily basis.   

1. Mangala Lakshadweep - Mangala Lakshadweep is a superfast train which depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin station every day at 9:15 am from platform no. 7 and reaches Madgaon junction on the second day at 7:30 pm on platform no. 2. Total travel time is 34h15m and halts are 21 only. The reserved Sleeper class ticket price will cost you around Rs.780.

2. Goa Express - Goa Express is a superfast train which depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin station every day at 3:00 pm from platform no. 7 and reaches Madgaon junction on the third day at 5:40 am on platform no. 1or 3. Total travel time is 38h40m and halts are 31only. The reserved Sleeper class ticket price will cost you around Rs.810.

How to reach south goa from Mumbai by Indian railway.

There are three trains available from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus

to  Madgaon railway station (south goa) on a daily basis.   

1. Mandovi Express- Mandovi Express is a mail train which depart from chhatrapati shivaji maharaj terminus every day at 7:10 am from platform no. 16 and reaches Madgaon junction at 7:00 pm on platform no. 3. Total travel time is 11h50m and halts are 18 only. The unreserved general ticket price will cost you around Rs.172.

2. Mangaluru Jn. SF Express- Mangaluru Jn. SF Express is a superfast train which depart from chhatrapati shivaji maharaj terminus every day at 10:02 pm from platform no. 14 and reaches Madgaon junction on next day at 7:10 am on platform no. 1 or 2. Total travel time is 9h8m and halts are 4 only. The reserved Sleeper class ticket price will cost you around Rs.420.

3. Konkan Kanya Express- Konkan Kanya Express is a mail train which depart from chhatrapati shivaji maharaj terminus every day at 11:05 pm from platform no. 18 and reaches Madgaon junction on next day at 10:45 am on platform no. 1 or 3. Total travel time is 11h40m and halts are 18 only. The reserved Sleeper class ticket price will cost you around Rs.390.

By Road

How to reach south goa from New Delhi by Road.

1.          AH47 will take 34h to reach Madgaon from New Delhi (1885 km).
2.          Mumbai – Agra National Hwy will take 34h to reach Madgaon from New Delhi (1915 km).
3.          NH48 will take 35h to reach Madgaon from New Delhi (1996 km).

How to reach south goa from Mumbai by Road.

1.         AH47 will take 11h11min to reach Madgaon from Mumbai (607 km).
2.         Bombay – Goa National Hwy will take 12h to reach Madgaon from Mumbai (577 km).

1. COLVA BEACH

Colva Beach is around 10 kilometers far from Margao  .you can do walk over there with your partner and family and enjoy the peaceful environment .there are some restaurants on the beaches so you can have some food on their. you can also enjoy so many water sports activities there. 3. VARCA BEACH

4. CAVELOSSIM BEACH

Famous Water Fall In South Goa

1. Dudhsager waterfall

Dudh sager comes in the highest waterfall list of India. Why Dudh Sagar called name as Dudh Sagar because in rainy season Water looks like pure milk falling from heights. If you want to explore Dudh Sagar you have to carry out at least one day from your trip. When reaching Dudh Sagar point first you have to buy private parking because Dudh Sagar doesn’t have their own parking. And private parking will cost you Rs-50 to 100 for 4 to 5 hours and then you have to buy a ticket form the ticket counter. Ticket price is Rs-500 Per Person and Rs- 40 for a life jacket from Dudh Sagar point to waterfall it will take around 40 to 50 minutes to reach and you can reach waterfall only through government-approved vehicles. When you reach checkpoint then you have to pay Rs- 50 for entrance and Rs- 100 if you have video camera. To rach waterfall your vehicle go through form wildlife sanctuary and that’s journey will go very awesome because of natural beauty. 2. Kuske waterfall

Kuskum waterfall is also known as (Kuske Waterfall). This waterfall is also a very beautiful waterfall of south goa. But this less explored by tourist that why is not much popular in between tourist. The closest beach is Palolem beach you can rent scooter or car to reach this waterfall. When you kuskum point first you have to buy ticket from ticket counter. As Per government rules you should pay Rs-20 for a ticket. Then there is one footpath from where you can reach the waterfall by trekking. It will take around 20 to 30 minutes to reach the waterfall.

3. Bamanbudo waterfall

Bamanbudo waterfall is a very famous attraction to visit in south goa. and if you are in south goa so don't miss visiting this place. when you reach this waterfall. you will notice that the waterfall looks like a giant water slide. while you entering in the waterfall be careful because the speed of the waterfall is very high and rocks are also very slippery. there is a one-track is also available from which you can reach waterfall but it's gone through from jungle and the track is a bit slippery due to wet soil and water on the track. and there is no fee for a waterfall.

4. Netravali waterfall

Netravali waterfall situated in the netravali wildlife sanctuary. this sanctuary is spread over the 40 km area. and it's a famous for its rear black panther's. the entry fee Rs-20 to enter in a wildlife sanctuary and they will charge Rs- 100 extra if you have a video camera. and netravali waterfall which also famous by the name of ( Savri Waterfall). you have to do trekking at least for 1km to reach a waterfall. it is the best point to take pictures and for relaxing also.

Tips For South Goa Tour

1. don't carry tight or uncomfortable clothes. because it's a humid climate over there. 

2. do not carry makeup over your face because it will go heavy due to heavy sunlight. 

3. do not use taxis to travel in goa because they charge too much as compared to the normal price. ola and uber not work on there. private cabs are the only option there.

4. do not carry too much cash with yourself. carry your debit or credit card should be a good option or you can use e-wallets also for the payments.
